ARTIST BIO
Inspired by the beauty of nature and love of being outdoors, Brandon Pidala, a landscape and nature photographer, seeks to capture that beauty and share it in his fine art prints. His photographic journey began a little over five years ago, but he has had a creative soul his entire life.
Having graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology with a bachelor's degree in Communication Design, Brandon has been a print designer in the entertainment industry for the past eighteen years, combining his passion for creativity with the art of visual storytelling. He carries this skill set into his photography and approaches subjects in a cinematic way that injects character and emotion into his images. Brandon’s photographs portray a “feeling of the moment” and use visual design principles to communicate that feeling.
The artist, who lives in Hopewell Junction, NY, is a native of the Hudson Valley and was born and raised in Cold Spring, NY. While he has a passion for travel and exploring foreign lands, his heart will always remain in the Valley. It’s the familiarity of his surroundings and connection to the landscape that enables him to “dig deeper” and create images that resonate with the viewer.
